My Story

I am hoping that you will be able to help me. To celebrate my bat mitzvah, I have set up a charity project to provide stationery items for children who can’t afford what they need for when they start school.

I have been volunteering with Gift for the past three years and I thought that this project would be a really helpful way to help the children of the families that Gift helps.

I am very lucky as my birthday is at the beginning of September and my friends always buy me things that I need for school but not everyone is as lucky as me.

There are three ways that you can you can help me:

1. Buy stationery items and drop them off in the Gift box outside 24 Edgeworth Avenue, Hendon NW4 4EY. The items we need are: pencils, pens, rubbers, rulers, pencil sharpeners, glue sticks, scissors, colouring pencils, colouring pens, highlighters and large pencil cases (brand new items only). I don’t expect you to give me all these things but if you could maybe donate a couple of items that would be amazing. OR

2. Donate stationery items in bulk if you are able to source these, for example, through your business. OR

3. Donate via the link at the bottom of this page: a fully equipped pencil case costs £15, a pencil case equpped with everything except colouring items costs £10 and colouring items (pens, pencils and highlighters) cost £5.

I am hoping to help 200 children at least, but if it’s successful there isn’t a limit!
